The difference between AHD camera and IPC camera

AHD (Analog High Definition) and IPC (IP CAMERA) both use analog imaging technology. The differences are as follows:

1. Different transmission methods

AHD technology enables the transmission of high-definition video signals over long distances on analog transmission lines.

IPC supports WIFI wireless access, 3G access, POE power supply (network power supply) and optical fiber access.

2. Different technology applications

AHD adopts Y/C signal separation and analog filtering technology, which can effectively reduce the color noise in the high frequency area, and the image restoration is better.

The IPC network camera adopts the network coding module to encode and compress the analog video signal into a digital signal, so that it can be directly connected to the network switching and routing equipment. The network camera has a built-in embedded chip and adopts an embedded real-time operating system.

3. Different ways of use

After AHD is installed, set relevant parameters locally, without the need for networking.

The IPC IP camera needs to be connected to the Internet to set the IP address, authorized account and video parameters, etc., and set the IP camera in the browser according to the menu.
